Have more seeds in your store than your opponent when the game ends. In Kalah the game ends when one row is empty; the other player then collects their own row.

No. There is no dice and no hidden information. Every position can be calculated, which is why the computer opponent is hard to beat on the top level.

Kalah is one game in the Mancala family, the version sold as "Mancala" in most shops. When people say Mancala they usually mean Kalah. Oware, Congklak and Bao are other members with different capture and end rules.
